Oak desk

This is a custom made desk inspired by mid-century design, it incorporates simple lines, minimal ornamentation and the use of honest materials to create a natural, simple feel that connects it to its surrounding.

The Unit features 3 draws that are opened with a small chamfer underneath that makes opening the draws easy, the unit completely made using messmate which is an Australian hardwood that is very sustainable while having great characteristics, it feature a light golden color, brown gum veins, prominent straight grain and is a hard timber so will resist scratches and dents well.

Draw size: 260mm x 350mm

The desk had a deep gum vein along the front edge so clear resin was used to fill it, this allowed the edge to keep a natural appearance.

The desk is structural sound and well made so it should last many decades.

Finish: Oil Based Polyurethane, Clear Satin

Grain and colour may vary as its made from solid hardwood.
