This lamps design was inspired by putting a modern twist on traditional Japanese shoji lamps. The lines on the lamp were inspired by Kumiko, this is a woodworking and design technique generally based on shapes found in nature. Kumiko is made from many narrow strips of wood all hand fitted into patterns
The shade is 3d printed from bio degradable PLA plastic to insure a minimal impact to the environment.
The bases are hand made from oak or American walnut.
The lamp comes with a light pendant cord compatible with an e27 screw bulb. No bulb included.
